About Font Gen

A free tool with one job: turn whatever you type into every fancy text style at once, ready to paste anywhere.

What this site is

Font Gen is a copy-paste font generator. Type your text once and it renders live in 139 styles — script, gothic, bubble letters, small caps, fullwidth, zalgo and more — plus a library of kaomoji and a seasonal drop that changes monthly. Tap any style and it is on your clipboard, ready for an Instagram bio, a TikTok caption, a Discord server or a Roblox display name.

The styles are built from Unicode characters, which is why they survive being pasted into apps that never let you change the font. If you want the full story of how that works — and the honest trade-offs, like search and older devices — the explanation on the homepage and the four platform guides go into proper detail.

Who makes it

Font Gen is built and run by DAOx LTD, an independent software studio registered in New Zealand. We build small, focused web tools — this is one of a family of them — and we keep them fast, free of sign-up walls, and honest about what they can and cannot do.

What's free and what isn't

All 139 copy-paste styles and every kaomoji are free, unlimited, with no account. That is permanent. The one paid feature is the wordmark generator — rendered logo artwork of your name in styles like chrome, neon and graffiti — which is sold as credit packs because each image costs real compute to produce. The free fonts never depend on you buying anything.

How the site is funded

Two ways: wordmark credit packs, and advertising served by Google AdSense on some pages. We do not sell your data, we do not run our own tracking or analytics cookies, and the free tools stay free either way. The details live in our privacy policy.

Our promise on the guides

The platform guides on this site tell you the parts most font sites skip — that styled text can hide you from search, that screen readers struggle with it, that some styles get filtered. We would rather you use fancy text well than use more of it. If a guide is out of date because a platform changed its rules, tell us and we will fix it.
